Coronavirus: Ant McPartlin and Anne-Marie Corbett shrug off virus crisis with dog walk

Ant McPartlin and his girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett decided to take a stroll with their dogs amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The couple were spotted on a romantic walk with their two Maltipoo pups, Milo and Bumble, on Wednesday.

Ant, 44, and Anne-Marie looked chilled out during their stroll in the woods, despite hundreds of thousands of Brits being urged to self-isolate at home under government advice.

The Saturday Night Takeaway star wrapped himself up for the occasion, wearing a North Face jacket and matching black trousers, paired with a Nike cap.

He was seen blowing a puff of white smoke from his vape as he loaded one of the pups into the back of their car, as his girlfriend was seen lifting the other.

Ant’s outing comes after news broke that he and his presenting other-half Declan Donnelly will be hosting this weekend’s Saturday Night Takeaway without a live audience.

The Geordie duo will be presenting in an empty studio for the first time ever after being locked in crunch talks with ITV bosses on how to move forward with the show during the crisis.

The pair were already forced to cancel the grand finale show at Disney World in Florida - where they were supposed to be flying out 300 prize winners.

Saturday’s show will see reduced production staff, but the boys are hopeful that the show will be just as brilliant.

A spokesperson for the show said: “Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway will go ahead this weekend without a studio audience. Our priority is safeguarding the well-being of everyone involved.

"The show will be made with a reduced production crew and in accordance with the latest guidance from Public Health England.

"The team are looking forward to bringing our viewers a brilliant show on Saturday evening.”

The show will air as normal at 7pm on Saturday, but due to the circumstances it will only be a 60-minute long episode and without a live audience.

However it will still be full of fans’ favourite segments, including pre-recorded sketches and pranks.
