Which actually turned out to be Vicky and Robert's sexts to one another, something that Robert slowly realised with dawning horror.
Robert's saccharine sweet vows began with him saying: "Michelle, when I first realised I'd fallen for you, I thought 'she'll never be mine'... you are the sun around which I orbit."
At which point, Amy Barlow called out: "Naff!"
He ironically continued: "I swear that I will be faithful, honest and true to our for the rest of our days."
It was then Michelle's turn as Maria cried over Robert's vows.
"Robert, you're the most amazing man I've ever met. You're handsome and kind and I pinch myself that you want to be with me," Michelle began as Robert began to look confused. "When you touch me, I shiver. First time we made love -"
At this, Maria blanched and gave Michelle a weird look.
Michelle continued: "When we made love, I just knew I was a goner. It just feels so right, like in the titanic, except neither of us should have to die. And now I'm carrying your baby. It's meant to be."
Realising that what was happening was more than wedding vows, the guests perked up and Dev even began filming it.
Robert tried to warn Michelle to stop but instead she motioned for Carla to give her her phone and it became clear that she was reading Vicky's texts to him.
