Coronation Street viewers stunned as Ken Barlow 'swears' at Norris

Coronation Street fans were left shocked tonight as Ken Barlow appeared to swear during a chat with Norris at their residential home.

Ken and Norris were talking about their recent move to their upmarket senior living community.

But while Ken loved the activities Norris was having none of it, mocking their Jackson Pollock art project.

During a heart to heart Ken asked Norris why he hadn't told Freda that he was unhappy.

Ken admitted he enjoyed living at Still Waters retirement village, but it sounded like he told Norris: "But you think its a load of b******s"

And many viewers thought it was the perfect way to cheer up the nation after Boris Johnson's announcement of much stricter measures to fight coronavirus.

Paul C said: "Never mind national lockdown, did Ken Barlow just say b******s" on Corrie?

Rebecca Clayton said: "Im sorry for being inappropriate in all the state of emergency this country is in but... DID KEN BARLOW JUST SAY B******s?!"

Tam said: "Did ken Barlow just say b******s on national television ahahaha what."

And thomasperry92 said: "Think Ken just said b******s on #Corrie at least that’s a huge cheer up for all of us."

Corrie is having to make big changes because of coronavirus, stopping production and slashing the amount of episodes per week.

Coronation Street will now air just three episodes a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7.30pm.

*Coronation Street continues at 7:30pm on ITV on Wednesday
