Coronation Street viewers spot red flags in Mike and Esther's home

Coronation Street viewers spotted several troubling signs in Mike and Esther's house.

The newcomers arrived on the street shrouded in mystery as no one seems to know anything about them. The couple made their debut in order to adopt Summer Spellman's baby after she agreed to be a surrogate for them.

Already striking a deal with the teenager, Mike and Esther have remained sickeningly sweet to the other residents but Summer's family members have aired their concerns that the couple may have a dark past or ulterior motives.

Summer called over to the pair's home to discuss their future plans but viewers noticed some concerning signs hidden in the background during tonight's episode. Fans believe there may be violence behind closed doors as one viewer said: "What’s happened to that fridge door - dents all over the place!"

Another added: "Anyone else spot the creepy punch marks in Mike and Esther’s fridge? Violence behind closed doors maybe?" Whilst a third said: "Esther and Mike are giving me red flags. I don't trust them at all."

Mike and Esther don't know that Summer suffered a miscarriage several weeks ago but already cashed their £10,000 to help send Aaron's dad to rehab. The teenager has left the wannabe parents in the dark but it remains unclear where she plans to take her lies.
