Coronation Street viewers spotted a huge blunder in the show last night as Gary Windass' broke into Rick Neelam's safe.
Viewers watched as Gary routed through Rick's belongings and saw a key fall out of an envelope.
The dodgy builder, played by Mikey North, went to Roy's cafe and could be seen pondering as to what the key was for.
None the wiser, it took Michael to spot spot what he was holding and he told Gary it was in fact a key to a storage unit.
Gary then raced down to the storage unit and discovered a safe with hundreds of notes stacked up inside.
But some fans noticed Gary had made a rather stupid mistake- reports The Mirror.
One tweeted: "#corrie gary you should be wearing gloves you idiot."
While another commented: "Gary's leaving his fingerprints everywhere oh wow! #Corrie."
Meanwhile others were hoping to see Gary get his comeuppance sooner rather than later.
A fan wrote: "Gary Windass is turning into a right Gary Badass!
Another tweeted: " You just know Gary Windass is facing a grisly end ....as soap killers never leave alive."
