Coronation Street viewers notice something odd during Gary's prison scenes

Coronation Street viewers were left baffled by Gary and Johnny's prison scenes on tonight's instalment.

Viewers saw Kai accuse Johnny of dealing drugs, but luckily Gary was on the scene to back him up.

However, Gary's appearance saw fans take to Twitter in confusion.

While all the prisoners were in matching blue sweatshirts and grey sweatpants, Gary was dressed in a black jumper, jeans and smart trainers.

Brian tweeted: "Why’s Gary wearing a different coloured top than everyone else in prison? Just asking for a friend..."

Narla said: "This is may be a silly question but why does Gary wear normal clothes in prison?"

Georgia added: "Why does Gary not wear the prison outfit and everyone else is?"

Owen said: "How come Gary doesn’t wear prison stuff?"

And Declan joked: "How many skinny jeans does Gary have exactly?"

Gary is currently in prison on behalf of Faye following her revealing that she was the one who attacked Adam Barlow thinking he was Ray Crosby.

Fans speculated the reason Gary may be able to wear his own clothes is because he is on remand.
