Coronation Street fans are infuriated by scheming Daisy Midgeley’s antics on the soap tonight.
On Tuesday night’s hour-long instalment, Daisy and Ryan Connor teamed up for the promotional event at Victoria Garden for Simon Barlow’s 18th Birthday party.
Daisy encouraged Ryan’s girlfriend Alya Nazir to visit a friend of her’s at the boutique to get a new dress for the event.
However, as the party got underway, Alya turned up to find Daisy wearing the exact same dress without a jacket and looking her best.
Alya becomes very suspicious of scheming Daisy’s intentions as she is so friendly with Ryan.
Following the party, Ryan comes home jubilant about how well the event went.
Alya chooses to speak up about her suspicions about Daisy having a romantic interest in him, but Ryan is not so convinced and sticks up for Jenny’s step-daughter.
Regardless, viewers at home are already getting irritated by Daisy’s behaviour in her pursuit of Ryan and the storyline is only just getting started.
One fan penned: “Damn, Daisy is trying to get her claws into Ryan #Corrie ”.
A different soap viewer tweeted: “Daisy is trouble she's more then that she's an idiot. I'm annoyed that #Corrie want to split up Ryan and Alya they were great together”.
Meanwhile, one exasperated viewer penned: “Daisys p***ing me off so much #corrie ”.
Elsewhere, another Corrie fanatic predicted: “Alya ain’t a pushover so Daisy had better watch her back if she’s going after Ryan #corrie ”.
"Daisy humiliating alya how dare she #corrie," penned a fan of Alya.
A different fan was clearly sick of Daisy, tweeting: "I'm begging the #Corrie writers to kill this dreadful Daisy character off #CoronationStreet ".
Others were more irritated by Ryan's obliviousness to Daisy's intentions, with one writing: It’s annoying me that Ryan is literally planting himself right into Daisy’s hands. #corrie ".
Finally, one furious fan of the soap concluded: “Can someone get rid of this annoying t*** Daisy is right getting on my pigging nerves. #Corrie ”.
Fans will have to wait and see what Daisy has in store on Friday’s hour-long instalment as she clashes with Alya and continues her pursuit of Ryan.
