Coronation Street viewers were distracted as a legend returned to the show.
Monday's episode explored the build up to Gemma and Chesney's wedding. Linda Hancock returned to the Cobbles in last night's programme to help the couple prepare for their big day.
However, the character immediately caused drama as she clashed with Gemma and Bernie on how they should cater the big day. It is Linda's first time in Weatherfield since she convinced Joseph to move away with her to Portugal.

However, the storyline had a dramatic twist end as Chesney stepped in at the last minute to convince his son to stay in Weatherfield. Linda is played by soap royalty as actor, Jacqueline Leonard is renowned for her role in another show.
The 57 year old was renowned for her role as Lorraine Wicks in EastEnders in the 1990s. Viewers following last night's Corrie on Twitter were distracted by the previous role as the actor returned to cause drama on the Cobbles.
