Coronation Street trailer teases dramatic week of episodes as Rana's killer revealed

Coronation Street will finally reveal the factory roof collapse culprit in a dramatic week of episodes commencing on Monday 27th May, as the ITV soap moves to the 9pm schedule slot to make way for Britain’s Got Talent live semi-finals.

Viewers have been waiting since March to find out who sabotaged the roof, causing it to collapse and kill Rana Habeeb on her wedding day to Kate Connor.

All will be revealed, as secrets and lies take centre stage, while Carla Connor’s mental health deteriorates further as she has a psychotic episode.

In the tense teaser released by ITV, it’s confirmed that someone will confess to the factory roof incident, as their identity remains unknown.

Nick Tilsley, Peter Barlow, Gary Windass and Carla are all named suspects, and all appear in the trailer.

Robert Preston and Seb Franklin complete the initial suspects line-up, but viewers are no longer sure whether any of them are to blame.

Nick is caught up in another web of lies, as it’s revealed to Audrey that her grandson is the one who stole her inheritance money.

Weatherfield residents including Rana’s brother Imran and Nick's own girlfriend Leanne, turn on him as they question whether he could have been behind the damaged roof.

He has his own confession to make, as he vows to tell Leanne the truth about his dodgy dealings after the discovery he stole from his own gran.

Gary is also in a spot of bother, as he appears to be held hostage by loan shark and enemy Rick Neelan in dramatic scenes.

Meanwhile there is concern for Carla when she learns she’s suffering a psychotic episode.

Peter is seen cradling Carla as she breaks down, claiming she killed Rana, but is someone else really to blame?

The week of episodes will finally answer the question everyone has been asking since March, but the fallout and whether the person will face justice is yet to be confirmed.

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV at 7:30pm and 8:30pm.
