Coronation Street trailer hints at explosive episodes with Rana's killer finally unmasked

The factory roof killer will finally be unmasked next week - with Coronation Street set to air a series of explosive episodes.

Ever since Rana died in the dramatic roof collapse in March fans have been waiting to see who her killer was.

A new trailer shows how a series of secrets and lies will be revealed next week - as Carla Connor's mental health continues to deteriorate as she has a psychotic episode.

In the tense teaser released by ITV, it’s confirmed that someone will confess to the factory roof incident, as their identity remains unknown - reports Mirror Online.

Nick's lies start to unravel (ITV)

Nick Tilsley, Peter Barlow, Gary Windass and Carla are all named suspects, and all appear in the trailer.

Robert Preston and Seb Franklin complete the initial suspects line-up, but viewers are no longer sure whether any of them are to blame.

Nick is caught up in another web of lies, as it’s revealed to Audrey that her grandson is the one who stole her inheritance money.

Weatherfield residents including Rana’s brother Imran and Nick's own girlfriend Leanne, turn on him as they question whether he could have been behind the damaged roof.

He has his own confession to make, as he vows to tell Leanne the truth about his dodgy dealings after the discovery he stole from his own gran.

Carla has a psychotic episode (ITV)

Gary is also in a spot of bother, as he appears to be held hostage by loan shark and enemy Rick Neelan in dramatic scenes.

Meanwhile there is concern for Carla when she learns she’s suffering a psychotic episode.

Peter is seen cradling Carla as she breaks down, claiming she killed Rana, but is someone else really to blame?

The week of episodes will finally answer the question everyone has been asking since March, but the fallout and whether the person will face justice is yet to be confirmed.

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV at 7:30pm and 8:30pm.
