Coronation Street tight-lipped about scenes after stars spotted filming in Bolton

Coronation Street crews have taken over the old magistrates' court in Bolton town centre, as they film upcoming scenes.

Television production vehicles are parked in Le Mans Crescent and Bolton Council confirmed that the much-loved soap is currently being filmed in the town.

On Wednesday morning (July 21) an actor dressed as a judge could be seen in the doorway to the old court.

Crews are expected to be filming at the location until July 30.

A spokesman for the show remained tight-lipped over the nature of the scenes but it could possibly relate to the Seb Franklin murder storyline.

Corrie characters Corey Brent and Kelly Neelan both face a court date, having been charged in relation to Seb's killing and the attack on his girlfriend Nina Lucas.

Seb actor Harry Visinoni was recently spotted filming new scenes, which are believed to be flashback scenes, showing what really happened on the night of his death.
