Coronation Street has teased fans with a behind-the-scenes glimpse at a storyline featuring Sarah and Bethany Platt.
As the cameras roll, mother and daughter are having an intense discussion in a photo shared by Corrie's official Twitter.
Details about the scene they were filming were covered by a 'Top Secret' stamp.
Along with the photo the soap hinted that the forthcoming storyline is a serious one.
"Whatever Bethany and Sarah are discussing, it's serious enough that Sarah needs two cups of tea for it!" said Corrie.
Fans wondered if this was a look at Bethany's exit storyline.
Lucy Fallon, who has played Bethany for almost five years, leaves the cobbles next year.
"Probs the shock her daughter is leaving the street," commented one fan.
"Bethany's final scenes must be coming up soon," wondered another.
The Blackpool native has been involved in a host of dramatic storylines, including schoolgirl Bethany being raped and groomed by manipulative Nathan Curtis and his sordid gang of friends.
Lucy scooped two awards at the British Soap Awards in 2018 for Best Female Dramatic performance and Best Actress.
Announcing her decision to leave, Lucy wrote in a statement on Twitter earlier this year: "After the most incredible four years, I have made the extremely difficult decision to leave Coronation Street at the end of my contract in 2020.
"It's hard to put into words how much this show means to me.
"I've made lifelong friends with some of the most talented and hardworking people in the industry, I've had some terrific and immensely important storylines and I've laughed with the best people everyday.
"I'm so thankful to Iain (Corrie boss Iain MacLeod) and everyone at Coronation Street, I owe everything to them and I will miss them greatly.
"Thank you so much for your support and love... can't wait to see what's in store for Bethany this year."
Bethany recently caused upset by growing closer to Daniel Osbourne while his wife Sinead was dying.
After Sinead passed away the pair have attempted to keep their distance, but Daniel was distraught when he thought she had been shot in the Christmas Day siege.
