Soaps are full of drama with viewers' favourite characters played out on-screen.
Coronation Street's Billy, played by Daniel Brocklebank, and Shona, played by Julia Goulding, have shared some emotional experiences.
And it seems the actors friendship has spilled into real life, too.

Daniel posted a snap of the two enjoying a meal on his Instagram.
Captioning the photo, he wrote: "This one has a gorgeous soul. When you find good people hold onto them. @julia_goulding" with a heart emoji.
Julia replied in the comments, saying: "Right back at ya! Love you!!"
Toyah actress, Julia Taylor, posted a purple heart emoji.
Corrie fans were also quick to gush over the photo.
One wrote: "Two of my faves"
Another said: "So adorable"
A third wrote: "Beautiful photo of you both"
Another said: "Love this duo."
Julia isn't the only cast member Daniel hangs out with away from the cobbles.
He recently posted a pic of himself with Carla Connor actress Alison King.
The pair appeared to be doing some paddle boarding, and are both wearing life jackets in the photo.
More recently, Daniel shared a snap of him and Alison sharing cocktails.
Fans were quick to comment, with one saying: "Two of my fav Corrie actors…looking fab"
Another added: "Great actress and actor, Corrie's finest by far."
