The actress and her boyfriend Jonny first shared their happy news with fans back in November.

At the time, Victoria - who was diagnosed with sickle cell anaemia when she was 22 - explained they had waited to make the pregnancy announcement due to her health.

Victoria told Hello! magazine in November: "We thought we would try next year. So when this pregnancy came along we were like, 'It's happening.'

"It did come as a bit of a surprise but it's so unbelievably exciting."

Of her health, she explained: "We know friends that have miscarried and so we waited until we were 12 weeks before we even told our parents.

"Then, with my health condition, we wanted a little bit more security and stability in knowing that everything is okay with baby and with me."

Victoria added: "As I have sickle cell, this is regarded as a high-risk pregnancy...

"But the team at St Mary's Hospital in Manchester are amazing and I see my sickle cell specialist, my obstetrician and my midwife every month and they really look after me."

The actress recently opened up about undergoing a procedure before the birth to correct the baby's position after doctors found the tot was breech

Victoria explained she had to undergo a external cephalic version (ECV) - where a medical professional turned the baby into a head-down position by applying pressure to her abdomen.

She admitted that the her pregnancy has been "challenging" and added that the ECV procedure was an "ouch moment" but she hoped she would be able to deliver the baby naturally, rather than having a caesarean.
