She's been at the centre of the Coronation Street drama after falling for engaged father-of-two Tyrone Dobbs, and Alina Pop has proven to be a big hit with viewers.
Fan messages have been pouring in for actress Ruxandra Porojnicu on social media.
And the star was touched by a message from one viewer whose six-year-old daughter watches the show with her.

The fan sent a message to the star on Instagram saying: "My six-year-old said 'mummy Alina doesn't sound like the other people.'
"So I told her about how you came from another country and she is fascinated!! X"
A delighted Ruxandra replied with love heart emojis: "Ah!!! thank you!!!"
When she arrived in the UK as an immigrant in 2015 Ruxandra had never seen the soap before.
The Romanian actress moved abroad with just £300 her pocket to start a new life and says she could have ended up in a similar situation to her character.
Nail technician Alina first appeared on the soap in April 2019 and was a victim of a slavery ring which made her work at a nail bar against her will.
A cruel human trafficking operation forced her to work long hours for barely any money, which she had to give back to her handlers while living in squalid conditions.
After the truth about her enslavement came to light Alina flew home to Romania.
She returned to Weatherfield the following year and in March she fell for Tyrone, who was engaged to Fiz Stape, after lodging with the couple and their daughters Hope and Ruby.
Ruxandra, 28, from Bucharest, worked as a cleaner on a construction site after arriving in London.
"I grew up with the Rocky films and believe in fighting for my dream and that's why I'm acting," she told us previously.
"I started modelling jobs, extra work and commercials.
"I built a portfolio and got my agent."
She added: "Sometimes I feel ashamed to say I didn't have a TV so didn't watch Coronation Street, and back home in Romania it wasn't streamed."
Corrie is the first major role for Ruxandra, who previously starring in the short film Desire.
Next week there's more drama for pregnant Alina when a fire breaks out at the flat she shares with Tyrone.
