Coronation Street star showcases gym-honed figure in a leotard as she works out in the park

She's causing serious drama on the Coronation Street cobbles as newcomer Nicky Wheatley and actress Kimberly Hart-Simpson took time out from the drama for a trip to the park.

Kimberley was spotted wearing a grey leotard and pink trainers as she put herself through her paces outdoors in Manchester.

After leaving the gym the actress braved the autumnal chill as she did a variety of stretches and used a massage gun in St John's Gardens near the old Corrie studios on Quay Street, and she looked in great shape in her sporty one-piece.

Kimberley arrived as sex worker Nicky in Corrie this summer.

Nicky caught widower Daniel Osbourne's eye and he paid her to wear his late wife Sinead's clothes while opening up about his grief.

Their initial meetings led Daniel to develop feelings for Nicky and he's since tried to help her leave her line of work.

Kimberley says it's the 'proudest moment of her life' to star in the world's longest running soap opera which turns 60 in December.

She played Beverley in Hollyoaks earlier this year and has also appeared in the Sky One comedy Mount Pleasant.

Kimberley has recently been working on a new project with Sean Ward, who played former Weatherfield baddie Callum Logan.

The menacing character was memorably killed off in a live episode in September 2015 to celebrate ITV's 60th anniversary after terrorising the Platt family.

He was whacked over the head with a wrench by Kylie Platt when she walked in to find him attacking her sister-in-law Sarah.

Callum's body was then wrapped up in a blanket and hidden in a manhole in Gail Platt's granny flat until it was discovered when Fiz Brown and Tyrone Dobbs accidentally drove into the house.

The Corrie duo were at Hope Mill to film a pilot for a new fashion mental health documentary.

And they seemed more than happy with the results.

"Today was the best," said Kimberley as she shared a behind-the-scenes photo on her Instagram.
