Coronation Street actress Sair Khan has shared her love for her former co-star on the ITV soap. Sair, 35, is known for playing Alya Nazir on the show and her character has had a rather turbulent time in Weatherfield.
Earlier this year Alya was targeted by a crazed knifeman after Blake Mysers was radicalised by Max Turner’s right wing extremist content. Max has since been released from jail and spoilers for next week show that Alya will take revenge by revealing the character's dark past to his new lover, the LiverpoolEcho reports.
Outside of Weatherfield Sair’s life is a lot less dramatic and she often shares updates with her Instagram followers. Recently she took to the social media platform to share her love for former co-star, Tisha Merry.

Tisha played Steph Britton on the ITV show from 2013 - 2018. It’s been a big month for Tisha as she celebrated her 30th birthday.
To celebrate she held a star-studded party this weekend and Sair shared a photo from the occasion. She captioned the post: "Love you Tisha Merry."
Tisha Merry is in a happy relationship with Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap. He sent a heartfelt message to mark the day last week.
He said: "Happy 30th birthday to this absolute beauty! Have a fantastic day/week/month or however long you manage to drag this birthday on for. Life begins at 30…."
