Mollie Gallagher has made quite an impact since rocking up on Coronation Street as Nina Lucas.
The character was taken under the wing of Roy Cropper (played by David Neilson), after he discovered that he had a brother Richard from an affair that his mother had.
When Richard died, Roy took in Nina and now she is becoming a firm favourite with viewers of the ITV soap.
In recent weeks, she has grown closer to teenager Asha Alahan, but in good old soap fashion, the course of true love never runs smooth and they have had a difficult relationship so far.
Fortunately for 23-year-old Mollie, her real-life romance couldn't be further from her character, as she celebrated Valentine's Day and their anniversary together.
While in Weatherfield Nina has realised that her and Asha are moving too fast, with Asha falling in love with her, away from the soap, Mollie is finding that cupid has hit the spot.
Mollie is dating musician Dan Myers and she's shared several snaps of the couple on her Instagram page.
Dan is a guitarist with Inego, who have been described as an "Indie rock with a splash of disco funk straight up with a pop twist from Manchester."
The pair look totally loved up in their social media snaps and last month they celebrated their anniversary together and Valentine's within a couple of days.
Mollie captioned a pic of the pair: "Valentine’s Day and our anniversary all in two days.
"Happy 1 year of Mol and Dan, I love you."
Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha on the cobbles, commented: "I remember you telling me about him for the first time so happy for you both xx"
Mollie replied: "AWWW yeh I remember the moment."
In December Mollie wished her boyfriend a happy birthday along with another romantic pic of them both.
She captioned the post: "Happy birthday to my fave, love ya lots."
Mollie made her debut in Corrie in November 2019 and she shared her delight at being part of one of the nation's favourite soaps.
Speaking about her character, she said: "I grew up watching the show and it is surreal to be on the set working alongside such incredible actors as David Neilson and Alison King.
"Nina is a really interesting character, she is a bit of an outsider and although she is reluctant to let Roy into her life she soon realises they have more in common than she first thought.”
