Coronation Street star Lisa George has finally returned to filming after shielding for months.
Lisa, who plays Beth Tinker on the ITV soap, has been missing from the Cobbles for much of the last year.
The 50-year-old has type two diabetes and was left half-blind in her right eye after suffering a mini-stroke.
Fans were thrilled when Lisa took to Instagram to reveal the news with a selfie from her dressing room at the set - reports the Manchester Evening News.
She wrote alongside the selfie she shared: "First day back at work... filming done and now catching up on fan mail and scripts.
"Apologies to all those who have sent me letters and not had a response yet... I’m working through them... thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to write , it is much appreciated. I shall respond as soon as I can."
She added: "All the best for now. Thanks to the fabulous hair wizardess @meghangorman_hair for sorting my locks out before coming back to work."
Lisa's Corrie co-stars were among the first to welcome her back.
Toyah Battersby actress Georgia Taylor said: "Welcome back, gorgeous,"
Melanie Hill, who plays Cathy in the soap, said: "Looking fabulous Lisa."
Sally Carman, who plays Abi Franklin, said: "You look amazing."
And Tracey Barlow actress Kate Ford took the opportunity to joke: "Hope you like our slightly tidier dressing room?" with Lisa replying: "Was it???" alongside a string of laughing face emojis.
Fans also flooded the post to offer their support to the star.
One said: "Be good to see you back on our screens Lisa."
Another said: "Can't wait to see you back in coronation Street."
And a third said: "Awww this is brilliant! cannot wait to see you back on my screen."
Lisa also took the opportunity to thank everyone for their messages.
She said: "Totally overwhelmed by all your beautiful comments, how lovely!!
