Coronation Street actor Adam Hussain has suggested that his character Aadi Alahan is about to embark on an exciting new romance with Summer Spellman.
Fans of the ITV soap will already be aware of the hints that Aadi has feelings for Summer (Harriet Bibby) and the storyline is set to be explored in the coming weeks.
Single Aadi has previously been mocked by thug Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) and even his own sister Asha (Tanisha Gorey) about his lack of success when it comes to females, but perhaps his luck is about to change.
Asked about a potential relationship on the cobbles, Adam said: "I'd say Aadi is interested in Summer, yeah! He's gone through those teenage puberty years and now he's focusing his attention on girls, so he's definitely interested in a romance with someone.

"Summer has certainly caught his attention. I reckon they could be a good couple because they're both smart, sweet and innocent.
"Well, Summer is! Aadi can have a laugh and be a bit mischievous sometimes. But when it comes down to it, he's just an innocent young boy who has developed feelings for a girl," he added to Digital Spy.

Adam has been playing the role of Aadi since early 2020 after taking over from Zennon Ditchett, who left Coronation Street to concentrate on his studies after being in the soap for 10 years.
Corrie fans reacted well to the change and Adam's portrayal of Aadi has proved to be a hit with viewers, particularly his comic timing in scenes with his on-screen father Jimmi Harkishin, who plays Dev.
Speaking about being a part of one of TV's biggest shows, Adam said: "It's been an experience! I've learned a lot. I've been able to grow as an actor and as a person as well.
"I've enjoyed being able to enter this new world of stable work with so many great actors and great people, who are like a family now. It's been transformational for me.
"At first, viewers were a bit shocked and surprised that Aadi had been recast. There were one or two negative comments online," he continued.

"But that's what you expect when you go looking for that sort of stuff, especially when you're replacing someone.
"I found it a little bit nervous and awkward coming in after replacing someone who had been on the show for so long. But after a while, the audience grew to me and I grew more into it as well," Adam added.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
