Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent announces pregnancy with footballer boyfriend

Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent has announced she's expecting her first child and showed off her growing bump.

Brooke, 26, announced the happy news in OK! magazine , as she beamed on the front cover.

Dancing on Ice's Brooke said she was worried she might not be able to conceive and is "beside herself with happiness" at the news.

Speaking to OK! she said: "My mum had me when she as 24 and we have a really close relationship so I’m hoping that will happen for me. If I’m half the mother my mum is then I’ll be happy,"

Brooke, who recently celebrated 15 years on Coronation Street playing Sophie Webster, said that she's already decided that she wants her footballer boyfriend Kean Bryan and her mum in the birthing suite.

The couple have decided not to find out the baby's gender but Brooke revealed she thinks she's expecting a boy.

On having a baby with partner she said: "We’re both each other’s biggest fans and having a baby together will add an extra bond.

"Kean brings out the best in me and it makes me so excited that we’re on this journey together. I like to think I’m the boss of our relationship but Kean has a really wise head on his shoulders, so I know he’ll be a brilliant dad.

"I’ve said to Kean that I hope our child is a show off, I want it to be a performer like me."

Brooke, who has been keeping her pregnancy secret until the big cover reveal, wearing baggy clothing in Instagram posts or only sharing snaps from her head and shoulders.

Although the couple said recently that they were in no rush to get married, Brooke said she would "love to get married".

She said: "Kean and I speak about it, But we are concentrating on the baby for the foreseeable."

The actress has already bonded with her bump, playing her baby music: "Sometimes I sit and cry about how much I love my baby! I’ve always wanted to be a mum, so I’m really excited."
