Coronation Street star Antony Cotton sent fans into meltdown earlier when he shared a photo from the set.
Corrie's filming came grinding to a halt amid coronavirus, with fans left worried that the soap might not be able to get back to set before ITV's new episodes run dry.
Amid rumours of when the show will get start filming again and with episodes slashed to three per week, Sean Tully actor Antony added fuel to the fire when he snapped the door to his dressing room.
The photo only shows his name and the room number, with Antony sharing a cryptic peeping eyes emoji.
"Please let this mean what I think it does," a fan begged.
Another could hardly contain themselves, penning: "OMG IS IT BACK ON?"
A third was confident: "YESSSS it's back on schedule."
Still, fans had their hopes dashed as Antony amended the caption to let fans know what was really going on.
"Hold your horses!" he wrote, "We haven't started filming yet.
"I went in to pick up some stuff from my dressing room. Some old nylons and a couple of lippys..."
Fans weren't too mad, one laughing: "You tease."
"Come back on soon I miss you," another gushed.
While Antony didn't give any clues about when cameras would be rolling again, a rep did say: "We will be revealing more information about when we will be back in filming in due course."
Kirk Sutherland actor Andy Whyment previously told he's hoping things get back off the ground in June, so they'll have new material for July.
