Coronation Street star Alan Halsall unrecognisable after makeover

Coronation Street star Alan Halsall found a way to kill a few hours in coronavirus lockdown with his daughter Sienna-Rae today.

Alan, who plays lovable mechanic Tyrone Dobbs on the ITV soap, took to Instagram to share the results of his makeover with his young daughter.

Alan shares Sienna-Rae, six, with his ex-wife and former co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson and the father and daughter looked like they'd enjoyed some quality time together in the snap he posted.

He explained that Sienna-Rae had found some hair chalk and decided to transform her dad's face and hair.

Sienna coloured Alan's beard in pink, while colouring his eyebrows in blue, before putting pink and purple in her own hair.

Taking to social media Alan captioned the cute post: "When your 6 year old princess finds her hair chalk from Christmas #nhsheroes #dadlife #daddysprincess #lockdownlunacy"

And his followers were quick to comment on his new look.

Matt Peacock said: "Suits you mate."

Corrie star Samia Longchambon said: "Loving the rainbow look guys."

helenb4215 said: "Suits u sir!"

And mrs_bea_kind said: "The things we allow our kids to do in lockdown...looking good! Working the rainbow look there."

As well as spending time with his beloved daughter Alan has also been enjoying time with his new girlfriend Tisha Merry.

Last week the couple enjoyed a fancy dress themed quiz night, but not all was as it seemed.

The former Coronation Street co-stars dressed up to the nines for a burlesque and Peaky Blinders themed quiz.

Alan, 37, wore a grey checked blazer with a white shirt and black tie, he finished his look with the trademark Peaky Blinders flat cap.

Tisha, 26, wore a black bardot-style corset dress, with layered ruffles on the bottom half.

But on his Instagram story Alan revealed what the pair were wearing from their thighs down.

In the story he showed that he was in fact wearing black shorts, while Tisha was barefoot.

He captioned the picture: "Reality" in a photo many of us will relate to during lockdown.
