Coronation Street spoilers: Paedophile Kel holds Bernie hostage and arsonist Hope strikes again

There's horror at number 5 Coronation Street next week when Bernie Winter is held hostage by her paedophile ex Kel Hinchley.

Bernie tries to make her escape but Kel steals the house key and holds her captive, until her twins Gemma and Paul rescue her and she promises to be a better mum to them both.

Daniel is thrilled to get back the stolen laptop, containing videos made by his late wife Sinead, which Paul took.

Paul is determined that he wants to see Kel behind bars, and is ready to make a statement about his past abuse.

Hope causes trouble when Fiz refuses to throw her a fireworks party (ITV)

And boyfriend Billy Mayhew says he's made an appointment for him to speak with a counsellor at a sexual abuse charity.

There's drama at the Dobbs and Stape household on Corrie when Fiz refuses to throw a fireworks party for her daughter Hope, but Tyrone persuades her to go ahead with it.

But Fiz, Tyrone and their neighbour Kevin Webster suddenly realise the back yard is on fire, and Hope watching the flames with amusement.

Fiz breaks down, admitting to Tyrone that Hope was probably behind the recent factory fire too.

Meanwhile Michelle Connor is determined to take her cheating fiance Robert Preston for every penny, and tells him she wants to go ahead with the wedding.

Robert suggests to Michelle that they gather their family to tell them about the upcoming wedding. Painting on a smile, Michelle agrees, but tells Carla that the necklace he bought her isn’t enough.
