Coronation Street spoilers: Ken Barlow prepares to exit as Peter and Tracy at war

Coronation Street favourite Ken Barlow finalises his exit from the Street next week, as his children Tracy and Peter Barlow go to war.

He recently made his surprise decision to depart from the Cobbles, deciding to move away with partner Claudia.

Ken has been on the soap since the very first episode almost 60 years ago, so fans were stunned by the move.

Actor William Roache hasn't left the show entirely though, despite no longer being on the famous location.

Next week, his family are still not convinced he'll be gone for long, until he decides to sell his house.

Tracy and Peter soon sense an opportunity though, leaving them in a bidding war with each other.

Ken remains happy with his decision to leave, so Tracy begs Steve to buy the house for them to move into.

But Peter isn't happy when he finds out, believing Tracy is taking advantage of his dad with her offer - leading him to make one of his own.

Ken's left with a dilemma on his hands, as Tracy vows to match her brother's price as the siblings battle it out for the house.

Before he can even decide, Tracy heads round there to measure up believing it's all hers.

Peter's partner Carla Connor doesn't even want the house, but this doesn't stop Peter from sticking with his plan after his sister winds him up.

Tracy asks Steve to up their offer one more time, before spotting an opportunity to work out what her brother has offered Ken.

She takes a peak, but will she be able to top it?

Later, the family gathers with Ken to announce the bids and see who the new owners are.

Viewers will have to tune in next Friday to find out who that will be.

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
