Coronation Street spoilers: Carla is arrested after devastating death confession

Carla Connor is arrested after horrifying confession on Wednesday night's Coronation Street .

The Underworld boss is taken away by the police after some shocking new evidence comes to light on the cobbles.

Carla looks guilt-ridden as she is manhandled into a police car by some angry looking officers as her furious neighbours watch on.

She is taken in for further questioning after admitting that she knew how badly the factory roof was damaged before the tragic accident.

Peter begs Kate not to report Carla to the police but realises he is far too late as she has already told them about her half-sister's confession.

Carla is arrested on suspicion of Gross Negligence Manslaughter.

After discovering that Carla has been lying to him, health inspector Wayne gives her another grilling.

Carla is rejected by the residents of the cobbles, including her own dad Johnny, who feelsvery conflicted over where his loyalties should lie.
