Coronation Street spoilers: A proposal for Michelle, Sinead fears for her future and Gary fights for life

The lies and deceit never end on Coronation Street do they?

On next week's Corrie , Sarah Platt lies to her daughter Bethany that she’s going to the Midlands on business, but really she's heading off to a hotel in Worsley to meet her new man Adam Barlow.

Fearing for Sarah’s safety, her ex Gary Windass urges Bethany to track Sarah down, while Sarah and Adam put the ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door.

Then Gary ends up in a grave situation when he assumes Sarah is with his dodgy loan shark boss Rick Neelan.

Seizing the opportunity Rick asks him to meet him, and Gary finds himself looking at his own shallow grave.

In the woods Gary fights for his life. But is this the end for the builder?

Meanwhile Michelle and Robert are back together and the bistro boss calls a meeting of the Connors to reveal he’s planning a surprise engagement party, but the only problem is that he hasn't popped the question yet.

After all their ups and downs will Michelle agree to marry him again?

Elsewhere Sinead Osbourne has a scan and the worried new mum tries to hide her feelings.
