A giant sinkhole is set to leave the Platts homeless on Coronation Street - but there is more to the storyline than first meets the eye.
Next week on the ITV soap, David plans a BBQ in a bid to try and persuade Shona to stay with him.
Shona and Nina arrive and join David, Sarah, Sally and Lily for the barbecue.
But things turn into chaos when there's a big crash and a huge hole appears in the middle of the garden.
They all gaze into the hole in shock and an engineer, Colin, turns up from the water company.
After he surveys the hole, he tells David that the house is unstable because of the sinkhole and that he will have to find somewhere else to live.
But soap expert Sharon Marshall has hinted that the sinkhole will be part of a much bigger storyline.
She said on This Morning earlier today: "It initially means that the Platts are homeless - there's always something going on there, there's always bodies being buried there.
"I can't help thinking that if you're going to go to the trouble of making a massive sinkhole, is this going to be part of a bigger storyline? And that's what I'm hearing, possibly a big storyline coming up."
Previously, Callum's dead body was discovered underneath the house, but none of the Platts went to prison for his murder.
Callum had attacked Sarah, who had been pregnant with their son Harry at the time, but was killed by his ex Kylie when she hit him over the head.
