Coronation Street shares a hilarious blooper reel - and fans love it

Coronation Street fans are calling for more after the soap shared a hilarious blooper reel showing some of the blunders from behind-the-scenes.

Corrie shared a collection of bloopers from its official Twitter account as a weekend treat for its viewers, and it proved to be a big hit.

Fans of the long-running soap are now calling for the show to make it a regular thing.

The first clip shows Peter and Adam Barlow and Daniel Osbourne having a serious family discussion that quickly dissolves when Chris Gascoyne, who plays Peter, accidentally sneezes in the direction of co-star Rob Mallard's drink.

"Can I have a clean glass?" asks Rob, who plays Daniel, as Chris apologises and the trio walk away laughing.

In the next clip Michael Le Vell, who plays mechanic Kevin Webster, is censored as he swears and can't contain his laughter after being asked to 'mime' one of his lines in the garage.

His co-star Sally Carman, who plays Abi Franklin, shrieks with laughter as Michael pretends to be a mime artist.

The next blooper shows Alan Halsall, who plays as Tyrone Dobbs, convulsing with laughter and covering his face after Maureen Lipman, who plays his straight-talking gran Evelyn Plummer, makes a rapid hand movement and says "I don't want any of your incy wincy little china jobs" while demanding a mug of tea and custard creams.

Corrie told fans: "We're not updating our website over the weekend, as we do some maintenance, but to make it up to you here's a BRAND NEW Blooper Reel!"

"Love it! Great to see how human and the actors are and enjoy some emotion and depressing scenes!" said one fan.

"I agree with everyone else we definitely need more of this, make it a regular thing. With as many different cast members as possible..." said another.

"Brilliant, MORE PLEASE...maybe a dose of these on the first day of each month, And two custard creams...thanks," tweeted another soap watcher.
