Coronation Street Sally Dynevor causes concern as she looks 'different' on ITV soap return

Coronation Street fans have all shown concern for actress Sally Dynevor after watching tonight's episode of the soap.

Sally, who plays the character of Sally Webster, returned to the ITV soap after a few weeks off. She had a short stint in ITV's Dancing on Ice as she competed in the ice skating show.

Tonight's episode saw her reunited with her lover Tim. The couple were on a sex ban after Tim had to undergo open heart surgery a few weeks back.

In 'cringey' scenes, we saw Sally return from Newcastle with Tim admitting that he was desperate to get her into bed. But Sally turned him down as she still had concerns for his health.

She pointed out that his six week ban wasn't up yet and he would have to wait. But finally, Tim persuaded Sally they should flout the rules and have sex a day early.

However, while the comical scenes played out, fans of the soap were concerned for the actress. They noticed that she looked different as she had 'red marks' on her face.

Taking to Twitter, viewers aired their thoughts. Roberto said: "What's wrong with Sally face? One side doesn't look right does it? #Corrie @itvcorrie"

Sian said: "What’s the red mark on Sally’s face? #corrie". Meanwhile, Annie said: "What's Sally done to her face , looks all bruised #Corrie"

A couple of fans shared their theories for the unusual marks as they replied. Carole said: "Ice burn?" while Philip said: "Skating on ice isn't it, probably why she's be missing."

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV and ITV Hub
