Verity revealed she was pregnant in August as she made her Coronation Street return.
Sharing her blossoming baby bump in water up to her thighs she shared with fans: ''Preggers. It hasn’t been an easy journey; so aware it isn’t for so many people.''

The joyous news is world's away from Verity's character on the cobbles which saw her caught up in one of the ITV soap's darkest story lines as the centre of a human trafficking plot.
The actress played salon boss Rachel Healy – which saw her force Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu) and other nail bar workers - into modern day slavery before the organised crime ring was uncovered.
Her character's scenes reached boiling point when in 2019 she sought revenge on Eileen Grimshaw's boyfriend Jan Lozinski (Piotr Baumann) who had acted as a police informant and she fled the street leaving him for dead.

Rachel later returned after Alina wrongly believed she may have been behind the life-threatening house fire.
After wrapping her final scenes, she signed off to fans on Instagram with a nod to her characters skin-tight leg wear: “Btw.....C’yer cobbles! End of Nasty Rachel!...who always has a big pleather sausage sticking out her ribs.”
