Coronation Street's Tyrone rushed to hospital in dramatic double episode

Coronation Street will air concern for Tyrone Dobbs on Monday night, as the double episode will see the character rushed to hospital.

His partner Fiz is left in a panic, as the character suddenly clutches his chest before slumping to the floor.

Fearing he is having a heart attack, Fiz screams out for his gran Evelyn to call for an ambulance.

Tyrone is soon raced to hospital with chest pains, with Evelyn and Fiz left waiting for news on if he will be okay.

Viewers face a wait too, as it isn't until the second episode when it is revealed what is wrong with Tyrone.

It soon gets confirmed that his health scare is in fact heartburn, leaving him embarrassed.

Fiz is relieved that he will be okay, having feared the worst after their row.

Last week Tyrone allowed someone to steal from Gary's furniture shop, where Fiz works, believing they had agreed to him taking some of the stock.

Gary is now furious and demanding the money from them, leading to Fiz having it out with her man.

It's then that Tyrone suffers the health scare, and they fear that the stress of their situation has left him in danger.

Evelyn is frustrated over the wasted trip, but it spurs him on to make a big change.

He's not so keen on it though, but Evelyn and Fiz push for him to have a more healthier lifestyle.

Tyrone feigns enthusiasm as Fiz points out his hospital dash could be a sign that he needs to make some changes.

It certainly won't get Gary of their backs though!

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
