Coronation Street's Tyrone left beaten and bloody next week after clash over lover

Tyrone Dobbs continues to be unlucky in love in next weeks episodes as he is left bloody and beaten by a man who claims to be his current love interest's husband.

The mechanic, who is played by Alan Halsall, has recently hit things off with mum Isla, and the pair go for lunch together in Speed Daal.

But when they go to leave the restaurant, a man approaches Tyrone and punches him, leaving him with a bloodied nose.

Tyrone's ex, Fiz, sees and rushes to his aid, telling him not to beat himself up over it as Isla has a reputation with going after other dads behind her husband's back.

Fans have called for Isla, who is played by Gemma Oaten and has previously appeared on Emmerdale, to become a regular on the cobbles.

Her character in Emmerdale, Rachel Breckle, was killed off in 2019.

Gemma told the Mirror: "There were points in Covid when I seriously wondered if I would ever act again. Then, out of the blue, I got asked to audition for Corrie and got the job. It was like a dream come true.

"Isla is a classic character. I think we filmed some Corrie gold. "

Tyrone had previously messed up his relationship with Fiz, when he went off with Alina, played by Ruxandra Porojnicu.

But Alina left the cobbles, leaving Tyrone all alone again, and by the time he realised his true feelings for Fiz she had already moved on with new man Phill.
