Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has teased that her character Sarah Barlow "might be next to go" at the hands of murderer Stephen Reid.

So far Weatherfield's killer has already claimed two lives - Leo Thompkins and his father Teddy - and fans have been speculating as to who could be next in his murder spree.

Speaking to Inside Soap, the star said: "Oh, she’d be devastated. Sarah looks up to him. He gave her an opportunity and a career in Milan and she listens to his advice. She's oblivious."

She added that there could be a brutal twist, as she said: "I don’t think anybody is safe. If he winks at me funny, I’m going to panic and start running from the building. Sarah is one of the closest people to him, so if she finds out, she might be the next one to go."
