Geoff Metcalfe's nasty and manipulative attempts of controlling Yasmeen has infuriated Coronation Street viewers over the last few months.
But as his lies become even more twisted next week, his son Tim (Joe Duttine) looks set to catch him out.
Yet will he discover the full extent of Geoff's dark side? And did he have something to do with the lack of presence of Tim's mum in his life?
Last night, Yasmeen (Shelley King) was horrified when she discovered her home is full of security cameras and confronted Geoff (Ian Bartholomew) about it.
However her turned it on her by accusing her of not taking his feelings into account and ended the relationship. Later, he took down the cameras and packed his bags to stay with Tim.
He told Tim that Yasmeen wasn't good for his mental health and that she was a nightmare behind closed doors. After Tim left, however, viewers saw Geoff continue to spy on Yasmeen with a camera he had left hidden.
Later on in the week, Geoff lies that he is suffering from health issues and is pleased that Yasmeen is concerned.
Next week, Geoff's deception turns even darker when he gives Yasmeen a list of his ailments and lets her think he could have cancer.
Earlier, Yasmeen asks Geoff about his health and explains to Alya that Geoff is suffering from heart palpitations.
Geoff is secretly ecstatic when Alya tells him that he means a lot to Yasmeen and tries to plead with him not to give up on her.
At the end of the week, Geoff basks in the attention when he turns up for work at Speed Daal but Yasmeen won't let him lift a finger.
But Tim is left baffled when he finds Yasmeen at No. 4 offering Geoff words of comfort as she holds his hand.
When Yasmeen realises that Tim doesn't know about his 'health issues', she tells Geoff to tell him the truth.
Will Tim realise how dark his dad has become?
