Coronation Street viewers have been "shouting at the screen" over Tim Metcalfe's behaviour.
Fans of the ITV soap are used to his often sarcastic humour and his ability to handle his wife Sally's nagging.
But lately, viewers are questioning his actions.

Following on from an earlier storyline that saw Tim rethink his lifestyle after suffering a heart attack in 2019, the character booked a checkup with Dr Gaddas.
Tim discovered he's having more trouble with his heart, and that he's in desperate need of a triple bypass – a fact he's kept secret from Sally ever since.
Wednesday's episode saw Aggie accompany Tim to a hospital appointment, as he refused to tell his wife what was going on.
And some soap fans said his behaviour "annoyed" them.
As they worried for Tim, many viewers refused to believe he wouldn't tell his wife he was unwell.
Dion Petrie said: "I’ve got congenital heart disease and it wouldn’t occur to me not to tell my partner if something was wrong with my heart, Tim is annoying".
Spartacus2906 said: "Really irritating when soaps have characters fall ill & them not tell anyone, let alone their partner/wife…they do this all the time & it’s not realistic…."
Ryan Glendenning said: "Tim you need to tell Sally. What you have could be serious. She deserves to know that there could be something wrong"
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV and ITV Hub
