Coronation Street's Sue Cleaver, who plays Eileen Grimshaw, has shed three stone by using a specific diet plan.
Eileen has been involved in several dramatic storylines over the years and viewers have also seen her frame shrink during her twenty years on screen.
Sue, 55, was first shocked into changing her diet, after she collapsed on set because of her diabetes.
And her hard work paid off, with Corrie fans seeing a much slimmer Eileen on the ITV soap.
Speaking to Woman magazine, a source said: "Sue was always a self-confessed foodie, who admitted that over-indulgence was her Achilles Heel. Now everything’s changed.
"Sue’s in her mid 50s so it was a no brainer that cutting down on certain things was what she had to do.
"She’s in this for the long game and wants to live a long, happy and healthy life.”
Sue turned to the Mediterranean diet, which involves eating foods low in sugar and went from a size 16 to a 12/14.
The diet is filled with foods high in healthy fats with plenty of fruits and vegetables.
Vegetables, fruits, nuts, fish, seeds and oil are all allowed, with moderate amounts of chicken, eggs, cheese and yogurt.
Anything with added sugar, refined carbs, trans fats and processed meats are all banned.
Alongside her new diet Sue also started to exercise regularly with cycling being her go-to activity.
Sue is leaving Corrie this year , after almost 20 years on the show.
She's due to be leaving with her new love Jan, after he was revealed as a police informant for the human trafficking ring.
