Coronation Street's Stu actor's other roles - soap past and Ted Lasso villain

Coronation Street viewers have been loving recent scenes, as new character Stu put killer Corey Brent in his place.

The character, who is homeless, came across a vital piece of evidence that could be key to proving Corey murdered Seb Franklin.

New spoilers have revealed Stu features in more scenes on the way, and he certainly leaves Corey worried he's about to be found out.

Fans have called for the character to become a regular on the ITV soap, while this remains to be seen.

Stu is played by actor Bill Fellows, and viewers may recognise him from his long list of other TV credentials.

From appearing in rival soaps to a recent role in an Apple TV series, there's bound to be something that Corrie fans have seen actor Bill in before.

Bill appears as villain George Cartrick in Apple TV series Ted Lasso, alongside Hollywood actor Jason Sudeikis.

As well as Coronation Street, Bill has also appeared in rival soap EastEnders, while this was a minor role in 2006.

Byker Grove is also listed on his television credentials, as well as roles in Waking the Dead, This Time with Alan Partridge, Holby City and Casualty.

Downton Abbey fans may recognise him too as he played Joe Burns on the hit show, while he's also been in Waterloo Road, Broadchurch, Wolfblood, Vera, Doctors and Father Brown.

We could go on too as there's plenty more!

In the latest episode of the ITV soap, Stu tracked down Corey at his home after following him from football training.

Corey had no time for him, until he realised he'd managed to find the bag he ditched in the river on the night he murdered Seb.

The bag contains evidence of his crime, including his blood-stained clothes.

Corey turned aggressive when he realised Stu wasn't making it up and he had the bag in his possession, and he soon told him to hand it over.

But Stu told him it would come at a price, otherwise the contents might make their way into the hands of the police.

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
