Coronation Street star Simon Gregson, 45, appeared on This Morning to explain why he has donated his classic car and bike to NHS workers..

Speaking to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford from his car in Wilmslow, he revealed he was donating the gifts to thank workers for helping fight the coronavirus.

The actor, who has played Steve McDonald for 30 years, said the car is a 1968 Triumph, and the bike is a 1955 Francis Barnet kestrel 30c.

They both now belong to two different NHS workers after Simon made the kind-hearted gesture.
