Coronation Street's Shona Ramsey makes chilling Clayton comment after waking up from coma

Shona Ramsey makes a chilling comment about her killer son Clayton as she awakes from her coma on Coronation Street .

Her family were left devastated last month when she was put into a coma after being shot by gunman Derek Milligan on Christmas Day.

Next week, Shona (Julia Goudling) regains her consciousness but there is heartbreak in store as she loses her memory of husband David Platt.

As David, played by Jack P Shepherd, sits at her bedside while playing recordings of Max and Lily, her eyes momentarily flicker and he becomes excited.

Rushing the doctors in, a consultant confirms that Shona is slowly coming out of her coma but tells David that she still has a long way to go.

When she eventually opens her eyes, David is left devastated when it's clear that Shona doesn't recognise him.

Later, the consultant warns David that Shona is suffering from severe memory issues and that it could take her up to a year to improve.

In a desperate bid to trigger her memories, David takes Max and Lily to visit his wife in hospital.

However David is left horrified when Shona gets Max confused with her son Clayton. Fans will remember that Kylie, Max's mum, was murdered by Clayton after he brutally stabbed her in the street.

Later, David leaves with Max and Lily but returns with their wedding album. Will this spark her memory back?
