Coronation Street's Shona and Todd set for unexpected Weatherfield street war

Coronation Street fans are never short of drama on the cobbles.

But next week, a street war will be served up by two unlikely Weatherfield residents.

Shona Platt and Todd Grimshaw are set to come to blows which fans may think is an unusual pairing.

However, the pair end up in a row over parking - yes, you read that right.

We don't see too many cars on those cobbled streets but fed up with vehicle chaos, Shona produces some homemade parking tickets.

When Todd dumps the hearse outside number eight, Shona slaps one on the windscreen.

But Todd is quick to tell her she is committing fraud and is annoyed to find the hearse covered in shaving foam.

But when Sarah Barlow returns the invoice to Todd and suggests he starts building bridges with the neighbours rather than winding them up.

It comes after George Shuttleworth tells Todd's mum Eileen Grimshaw that he spent the night kipping in the funeral parlour and she ought to cut him a bit of slack.

That's because Todd's crimes are set to be exposed this week, when teenager Will reveals all to a horrified Summer Spellman.

But we're set to see more between George and Todd as he scours the rental property pages - and admits to George that it’s all out of his price bracket as he’s still paying Billy back for the stolen heat pump.

When Todd reveals he still hasn’t found anywhere to stay, George insists he comes home with him.

Fans will be glad to see the Corrie colleagues sharing more scenes together after they gushed over their partnership earlier this month.

Todd actor Gareth Pierce shared a sunny selfie alongside George star Tony Maudsley, who made his Coronation Street debut last September, while they were away on a sunny camping trip a couple of weeks ago with their co-stars.

Gareth was flooded with comments thanks to his selfie partner as they praised the duo.
