Coronation Street's Sharon blackmails Jenny after Johnny recognises her from prison

Coronation Street fans have warned Jenny Connor to be careful after Sharon Bentley threatened her during Friday night's episode.

Jenny is starting to unravel the truth about Sharon and why's she's returned to the Cobbles - but Sharon isn't easily intimidated.

In fact, the auntie of drug dealer Harvey has a pretty epic hold over Jenny - after she suspected that she's been enjoying a fling with Ronnie.

As Jenny arrived at the Bistro to enjoy a romantic meal with Johnny, they bumped into Sharon and Ronnie having a chat and a drink.

Once the couple had sat down, Johnny asked them if they were on a date before telling Sharon where he recognised her from.

Looking panicked, Sharon managed to style it out as Johnny announced he once saw her at the prison.

However, Jenny and Johnny were having none of it and as Sharon quickly rushed off, Jenny followed her outside and confronted her about there being no such programme at the prison for Sharon to help out with.

But Sharon isn't easily scared, and when she bumped into Jenny on her way back from the chip shop, she was the one dishing out threats instead.

As Jenny attempted to dig a bit more, Sharon threatened blackmail as she brought up Ronnie and referred to him as Jenny's "boyfriend".

"Next time be less obvious, I can practically smell him on you!" Sharon told her, as Jenny started to worry but attempted to deny it.

"Nowt gets past me, so back off!" Sharon added, as Jenny asked her if she was threatening her.

Johnny said that he recognised Sharon from when he was in prison and it led to Jenny putting two and two together (ITV)

"No it’s a promise!" Sharon replied, before telling Jenny to back off.

However, despite Sharon being very suspicious of Jenny and Ronnie, that didn't stop Jenny from trying to convince Rita of the truth as she showed her a photo of Sharon with Harvey.

After Rita told Sharon that she knows about her nephew, Sharon looked taken aback but instantly realised it was all Jenny's doing.

Will she get her own back and tell Johnny about Jenny's fling? Or could Sharon have something much more dangerous in store?
