Coronation Street's Seb Franklin reveals unexpected suspect behind factory collapse

Coronation Street could have a surprising villain on their hands, after Seb Franklin shared his suspicions over who really caused the factory roof collapse.

The character is a suspect himself, along with Gary Windass, Robert Preston, Carla Connor, Nick Tilsley and Peter Barlow.

But as suspicions continued to fly around the Street, Seb placed his bets with two characters in the frame, including one person not on the original list.

After drama with Gary, as his tools were stolen from his van, Seb came under scrutiny.

How did Rana die in Coronation Street, and what happened to the factory?

It’s then that he declared to Eileen he had a pretty good idea of who was most likely to have caused the factory incident.

He blamed Gary, but not only that, he suspected new builder Jan was also behind it, and his team.

Jan recently joined Gary’s work team, with them both planning to do work on the already damaged factory roof.

Owner Carla had other ideas though, and while she got them to fix up a leak she refused to let them do a full makeover.

While someone did sabotage the roof, at the moment residents simply believe the roof was so damaged it caved in with no foul play.

This hasn’t stop Gary fearing the worst though, after he was one of the last people on the roof with Jan, attempting to fix it before it came crashing down.

He even lied to the police to stop them finding out he had been working on it prior to the collapse.

But could Seb be onto something, and could Gary and Jan know more than they’re letting on?

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
