Coronation Street's Sarah Platt to make deadly decision after Gary Windass twist

Coronation Street actress Tina O'Brien has teased Sarah Platt could keep Gary Windass' shocking killer secret, after dramatic scenes this week.

Sarah learned ex Gary had murdered loan shark Rick Neelan a year on from his brutal demise.

Deciding to call the police, Sarah ran for her life away from Gary, only for him to get hit by a car after saving her.

Now, it seems Sarah may be tempted to keep the secret - despite her husband Adam Barlow's continuous attempts to expose him.

While he has suspected that Gary killed Rick, only Sarah now knows what happened but she appears to have a change of heart.

Speaking on Lorraine about the scenes and the filming of the show's first socially distanced stunt, Tina teased a twist could be on the cards.

She told Christine Lampard: "Oh it’s really going off at the moment isn't it?

"He [Gary] is found on the floor and we don’t know if he’s going to survive or not. What’s Sarah going to do?

"Is she going to go to the police or not? Sarah decides she maybe wants to keep this quiet for a while… but Tyrone saw her running away from him."

Adam will grow suspicious in upcoming scenes, after Tyrone gives his version of events.

He questions why Sarah would lie about what happened with Gary, but will she be forced to tell the truth?

Speaking on filming the stunt scene, she joked about her alter-ego after a dummy was used in place of her to keep a distance.

She said: "There’s my alter-ego, the slimmer, taller, pre-Covid version of me!"

Tina also talked about having to do her own hair and make-up for the scene, as the pair filmed in heavy rain.

She told Christine: "I had to do my own wet hair continuity which in the end was me sticking my hand in a puddle and [wipes hair with hands].

"I miss them [the make up artists]. They’re there with us trying to make sure our continuity is correct."

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm on ITV.
