Coronation Street's Sally Carman is taking a break from social media for an undisclosed reason.
The actress took to Instagram to tell her following they'll be hearing less from her as she intends to step away from social media. Sally didn't explain why she came to the decision or what may have sparked it but fans shared their concerns hoping the star is "okay."
Sally, who plays Abi Franklin in the soap, said her break would be for "a few weeks" and accompanied the update with a single heart emoji. Fans worried about the actress's well-being sent their best wishes, including one follower who said, "Hi Sally, I'm hoping you are OK, sweetheart?"

Another added: "Hope you're okay? Take care of you xxx." A third said: "Take care and I hope you can also have a lovely rest you deserve it. I hope you are keeping well sending best wishes."
Sally took a similar break from Facebook but failed to return despite promises to do so. While the star may have given up the site for good, Instagram has been Sally’s main touchstone to share news with her fans.
Last year, she announced on the platform that she had finally married her Corrie co-star after their wedding was cancelled multiple times due to the pandemic. Sally and her now-husband Joe Duttine, 52, had previously worked together on Shameless in the early 2000s and reunited when the actress joined the Corrie cast in 2017.
