Coronation Street actress Ruxandra Porojnicu has predicted that her character Alina Pop could end up in a scuffle with Fiz Brown (Jennie McAlpine).
Alina has been growing close to Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) in recent weeks, and their romance could end up leaving Fiz heartbroken.
Speaking to press including The Mirror, Ruxandra confirmed that Fiz will confront Alina in Roy's Rolls and she teased it could get physical.
Asked if the could end up in a catfight over Tyrone at some point, Ruxandra replied: "I'm not going to tell you, but I can tell you that Alina is going to stand up for herself at some point."

The 27-year-old actress went on to say that she thinks Alina does feel a certain amount of guilt for being interested in Tyrone, who shares children with Fiz.
"I think she does because Fiz was there for her and now she feels like she shouldn't bring so much unhappiness to Fiz's life," Ruxandra said.
"But at the same time she is trying to stay away from Tyrone, but when this doesn't work out as it should and Fiz confronts Alina, I think everything changes from Alina's perspective, because she realises if she doesn't stand up for herself, she's going to be in a lot of trouble."

Asked what advice she would give her character, the brunette soap star replied: "If I would have the opportunity to speak to her beforehand, I would definitely tell her to stay away from a taken man!"
Ruxandra also admitted that she isn't "anticipating for the audience to be on Alina's side" as Fiz and Tyrone are a much-loved couple in the ITV soap.

Speaking about when she found out about the upcoming storyline, she said: "I was very excited because Jennie and Alan are amazing actors and what they've done with Fiz and Tyrone is just beautiful, they are such an iconic couple.
"I was so grateful to be part of this storyline and to work with them, so I was definitely excited. They are really nice people to work with."
