Coronation Street's Robert in brutal car crash - as Michelle discovers truth about affair

Robert Preston will be involved in a brutal car crash - prompting his lies to unravel on Coronation Street tonight.

The chef, played by Tristan Gemmill, continues to try to keep his double life afloat as he drives between the homes of his two fiancees.

Robert calls around to Vicky's to speak to Tyler (Will Barnett) about the Amy situation, but it's on his way back when disaster strikes.

While taking a call from Michelle (Kym Marsh) about Ray threatening to sue her, Robert is distracted and ends up crashing his car.

Michelle is sick with worry after being unable to get through to Robert and is horrified when she receives a call from the police.

They tell her that Robert has been in a serious accident, but is very confused when she hears that he is being taken to Macclesfield Hospital when he is supposed to be in Sanbach.

Things go from bad to worse for an unconscious Robert when he begins asking Michelle about a baby.

She is left even more baffled when she spots a 'big Daddy' necklace among his belongings.

Has Michelle finally rumbled Robert?

Elsewhere, Roy finally tells Carla the truth about his new obsession with online Scrabble.

He explains to her that he thinks that his partner on the game is actually his brother and is worried about him as he hasn't played his move for some time.

Roy came to the conclusion after doing some research and finding out that his mother had another son, Richard, after an affair and put him up for adoption.

He also tells her that he found an address for Richard and Carla suggests that they track him down.

How will Roy react when he finally meets his long-lost brother?
