Congratulatory messages have been flooding in for Joe Duttine and Sally Carman after they announced their engagement.
The real-life Coronation Street couple announced the happy news on Friday on Instagram.
The actors, who play soap favourites Abi Franklin and Tim Metcalfe, are thought to have started their relationship in the summer of 2018 and moved into a new home together at the end of last year.
Sharing a picture of her ring while the pair celebrated with champagne, Sally said: "So this happened... #yes"
The 38-year-old then followed up the snap with another of them celebrating with the caption: "We've got each other."
Joe also shared the news on Twitter with a sweary nod to what else is going on in the world write now.
He told his followers: "She said yes everyone, convid 19 can f**k off..."
The 49-year-old then noted his error and added: "‘Convid, covid, whuteva."
And their Corrie co-stars were quick to send their messages to the pair.
Joe's on-screen wife, actress Sally Dyvenor commented: "Oh wow that’s fantastic news. Congratulations you beautiful couple."
Samia Longchambon said: "Ahhh amazing Sal! So happy for you both! Congrats you two! Xxx."
"Absolutely over the moon for you both!!!! I’m sooo happy!!! Biggest congratulations," Lisa George added.
Kym Marsh said: "Yayyy congratulations."
