Coronation Street stars and Hollywood actors don't often go hand in hand - but one soap regular may have just changed that.
Peter Barlow actor Chris Gascoyne has confused us all this week by sharing a photo of himself looking rather friendly with Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp .
The 51-year-old posted the 'rock n roll' looking snap to his Instagram page, posing up a storm with Johnny, who was styled with various jewels.
Chris gave no indication to how the pair knew each other, leaving the caption option completely blank.
But it hasn't stopped fans going crazy over the unlikely friendship.
"This has made MY DAY," commented one enthused follower.
Another said: "Wow my 2 fave actors in the same photo."
"That's one night out I would have liked to have been on," a third said.
Others however have come up with the idea that Johnny swaps the American lifestyle for that of the Corrie cobbles.
