Coronation Street's Paula Lane looks worlds apart from Kylie Platt in new pics

Coronation Street star Paula Lane looked world's apart from her former Coronation Street character in new pictures.

The actress is best known for playing the tragic Kylie Platt on the ITV soap and caused havoc on the cobbles for six years, from 2010 to 2016. Her character was killed off in 2016, at the hands of Clayton Gibbs.

While starring in Corrie, the character was known for rocking a bit of a chavvy look. She was rarely seen without gigantic gold hoop earrings and dark eye make up.

But now, while off screen, Paula looks nothing like her alter ego. The soap star recently shared some images of her enjoying Manchester Christmas markets.

In the Instagram snaps, she was all wrapped up warm, and was lacking the heavy make up and large earrings. Paula sported a white woollen coat and sun-kissed hair as she sipped some mulled wine.

The mum-of-two joked as she captioned the post: "MCR. Had to remortgage my home for a Gluwein and a hog roast bap but hey ho!"

Fans were quick to compliment her on how good she looked. One user wrote: "Incredible beauty."

Gary said: "Naturally beautiful." Another added: "Looking good Paula."

Since leaving the Cobbles, Paula has gone on to land roles in Call the Midwife and Father Brown. She currently lives in Yorkshire with her husband Tom Shaw, who she married in 2014.
